Support with Registration

Assistance with Registration
Lindsay Jack & Son Funeral Directors offers comprehensive guidance throughout the registration process, approaching each step with care and sensitivity. We will clarify the requirements set forth by the registrar and elucidate the operational procedures involved.
Our services include the collection of necessary documents, coordination with relevant professionals, and facilitation of arrangements to ensure a seamless process, allowing you to concentrate on your family.
Should you require support in scheduling appointments, gathering documentation, or determining which certificates are necessary, we are equipped to provide discreet and practical assistance throughout the entirety of the process.
Registration of Death
In Scotland, it is mandatory to register a death within a period of eight days. This process is conducted with utmost sensitivity and clarity, enabling families to fulfil the legal formalities while receiving support for practical arrangements.
Procedure for Registration
Registrations are conducted via telephone. Individuals are required to schedule an appointment with any Registrar’s office in Scotland and provide the necessary information during the call. It is advisable to have original documents readily available for reference throughout the appointment.
